The Beautiful Bee book

This book introduces children to the world of bees.  It explores the life cycle, development, and includes interesting features of the bee.  Children can turn a wheel to see how a bee develops stage by stage, or lift a flap to see the workings inside a bee colony.  The Beautiful Bee book also includes fascinating facts, interesting features about bees, a glossary, and an index.

Doing some bee craft or looking out for bees in the garden would tie in nicely with this book.

The Beautiful Bug series introduces children to the amazing species of butterflies, beetles, bees, and spiders.  Beautifully illustrated these books feature simple text that young learners will understand. Suggested for children aged 4 to 8.

    I'll have to look for that book at our library. Our bee study a few years ago was a favorite with my now 8 yo. Thanks for sharing!

    Really does look beautiful. Love anything about nature and the connectedness of animals and plants and what better way to teach this biodiversity than through bees.
